This event seeks to highlight the need to work collaboratively to strengthen innovation ecosystems around the world for the benefit of people, by promoting increased awareness, regional dialogue, and networking on IP key issues. It aims to build a collaborative long-term action-oriented agenda with committed stakeholders, notably public and private sector actors, academia, and others on bringing IP to the hands of everyone around the world.

GLIPA intends to use the discussions, conclusions, and agreed-upon activities that emerge from this event as the basis for an ongoing action agenda.
